The tower is normally not the greatest card to pull in a reading because it does mean radical change, almost to the point that your world is falling about… yip it is that dramatic 😊 I mean you see the image with the person naked and literally falling from the tower that has been struck by lightning - gosh it's like a scene from a movie. And, yes it can be quite an ominous card, but I love the tower card, and for me, it shows how incredibly personal and accurate tarot is.
When I started studying tarot with an incredible teacher Angela Parnell Whitehouse, the tower came up repeatedly for me, and it did and still is a sign for me that even in the most uncertain and turbulent times, everything will be ok and most definitely things will turn out better than I could even imagine. I was studying tarot when my life was a whirlwind of change, I had changed jobs and decided to move to the other side of the world literally from Johannesburg to Helsinki by myself and not knowing anyone. Hence the constant showing up of the Tower 😊
Since then there has been even more changed, but the one settling thing is that the change has always been for the better even though when it is happening, it is beyond stressful and an emotional rollercoaster!!!
So when you get the tower card in a reading, know that yes you might be in the midst of upheaval and despair or your world is about to be shaken up. Try to see it in the positive light, that once it all calms down and you can have perspective, you will understand why it happened and that you needed the push from the universe to make the big change.
We all know that the only constant in life is change, and it helps to be reminded to always embrace it!
All my love always
